Norwegian Water Cluster is as a member organization, consisting of 50+ member companies, a hub for knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and industry partnerships. The cluster aims to bridge the gap between academia, industry, and public institutions to tackle complex water issues.


We have a focus on research, development, and international cooperation, the cluster is dedicated to shaping the future of the water sector, tackling emerging challenges, and leveraging opportunities for the benefit of Norway and the global community.

Aiwell Water

Aiwell Water was established on 07.06.2016 when the city of Drammen wanted to use our siphonic drainage solution. We have now signed a new contract with them for further development of the system so that we reuse existing pipes and get far more water out of an area without having to dig in the streets. This solution reduces the cost and is good for the environment.

Aquateam Cowi

Aquateam COWI conducts applied research in water and the environment, with a focus on the development of new and improved sustainable solutions. We create value through our research-based knowledge, experienced researchers, and well-equipped laboratory. Aquateam COWI is close to the market and end-users, collaborating with leading national and international universities, research institutes, and industry partners in both independent and commercially-oriented research endeavors.

AVM Valves AS 

AVM Valves supplies valves for water, wastewater, hydropower, and more. We have a comprehensive, self-developed product range that covers all types of valves for these applications, in all sizes, materials, and pressure classes, including special valves. With over 50 years of experience and deliveries to more than 80 countries, AVM possesses unique expertise that benefits our customers in all phases of a project.

Fuglesangs

Fuglesangs is a family-owned company, established in 1916, with 48 employees based in Alna, Oslo.

Fuglesangs provides pumps, pumping systems, hydraulic systems, sealing technology, specialty lubricants, composite coatings, and maintenance services. The company has significant in-house engineering capabilities.

Through process understanding and thorough evaluation of equipment life cycle costs, Fuglesangs has successfully reduced operating costs for many businesses.


The main markets served by Fuglesangs are the process industry, oil & gas, as well as water and wastewater.


Guard Automation

Guard is an independent provider of industrial automation and system integration. Our main focus areas are water, environment, energy, manufacturing industry, as well as industrial electrical, IT, IoT, and AI.

We continuously develop new products and services that contribute to increased operational efficiency and productivity. Our implementation capabilities enable cost-effective digitization and data processing, bringing our customers into the future.


Miljø og Fluidteknikk

MFT provides products for rainwater management. We offer smart, reliable, and documented solutions that provide hydraulic control and reduce the risk of flooding and pollution. Our range includes standardized products as well as customized solutions. We manufacture a significant portion of our products in Norway. An extensive inventory of finished products and components in our workshop ensures quick delivery, even for customized solutions.

Trilobite Industri AS

Trilobite Industry is an innovative Norwegian company with its own unique technology for hydrodynamic separation of particles from fluids that can be used as a step in a complete fluid treatment system. Trilobite also has distribution of UV sensors from Photonic Measurements in the Scandinavian countries.

Sulzer

Sulzer is one of the world's leading pump manufacturers, offering a wide range of products for customized and standard pump solutions, along with associated equipment. We are known for our high-quality products, reliability, and efficient solutions.



Intoto

Intoto is a data platform and innovative Norwegian technology company for watercourses, offering data, cloud, and tools for watercourses as services. Intoto addresses challenges primarily related to water level through data and smart hardware solutions. The company collaborates closely with leading players in Europe with the goal of creating a globally groundbreaking platform for watercourses that can be used by all.

Wikholm

Wikholm provide services in urban development, landscape design, and green maintenance. We construct new facilities and deliver services related to the operation and maintenance of outdoor areas. We undertake projects as subcontractors, main contractors, and general contractors in all areas of landscaping. 

CSDI Watertech

CSDI aims to develop and disseminate sustainable and innovative technologies in water related areas, including stormwater management, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, urban flooding risk assessment and mitigation, Blue-Green solutions, combined sewer overflows (CSOs) and pollution control, water friendly environment, sustainable hydropower and renewable energy, and new materials. Development of research and innovation projects and associating activities are our main activities. 

Cambi ASA

A Euronext listed company, Cambi is a global technology and solutions supplier for wastewater sludge and organic waste treatment using anaerobic digestion. With over 30+ years experience, Cambi has been a leading provider of thermal hydrolysis process (THP) for medium and large wastewater utilities. THP increases renewable energy output, reduces carbon and space footprint and produces biosolids suitable for land application and thermal treatment.

Prominent Norge AS

Prominent Norge is part of Prominent GmbH, an international, family-owned company that offers most equipment for water treatment. We supply small and large dosing pumps, UV systems, chlorine dioxide systems, filter systems, chemicals and technical solutions to small and large customers in Norway. Our customers are municipalities, hotels, swimming pools and the farming industry, and we assist them with solutions, service and specialist knowledge.

  • What are the benefits of being a member of the cluster?

    As a member in the Norwegian Water Cluster, you get to be part of a vibrant community with companies and public entities that all has water as a common subject. We have events and seminars, can help with finding opportunities, and serve as a service point for bridging customers with supplier within the water field. We are the gateway to the Norwegian water industry and the gateway to the worlds water industry for the Norwegian market. 

  • What events and seminars fo you do?

    The events we have in the water cluster ranges from small events like Coffee Hour on a Friday morning to larger events like suppliers’ conferences and theme specific conferences. 

  • What is the membership fees?

    The currents membership fees for 01.01.2024 are as follow: 


    Small entities: 4.500,- NOK

    Medium entities: 8.250,- NOK

    Large entities: 22.500,- NOK
